Once received the order open the package immediately for inspection. Contact us within next 48 hours with any issues
you may have with the order.
Return/Exchange Guidelines
If you need to initiate a return, within 2 days of receiving your order go to
contact us page, from the drop down box select topic "Return request (RCN)", fill the form and submit it for authorization # and return information. We will accept returns and exchanges only if they meet our guidelines and as long as you have provided return authorization # (RCN).
- The items must be resalable unused/unopened in the original packaging
- The packaging must not be damaged in any way
- Any return received with missing items or without original packaging will not be credited
- Return must use a traceable shipping method and COD will not accepted
- Any returns without tracking or delivery confirmation will not be refunded.
- The Return Confirmation Number (RCN) must be printed on the package exterior
The following items are only returnable if they are unopened and in its original packaging.
Products in zip-lock bag style packaging or any bag/box that is not factory sealed is not returnable.
Undergarments, socks and stockings, dress patterns, eye lashes, wigs, beards, facial hair or any other artificial,
Prosthetics, fangs or any other fake teeth, cosmetics
The Following Items are never returnable:
- Orders placed between October 14 and October 31 are not returnable
- Special ordered items - including all Mascots
- Pre-sold / back ordered items
- Props that require special delivery are also not returnable
- Any item that has been worn, used or altered
- Shoes & Boots
Returns shipping charges
Shipping charges of any kind are non refundable. This includes any return shipping on exchanges.
If product is damaged or incomplete than upon receipt and confirmation of the return the customer's account will
be credited for the amount of the purchase price of the item, less shipping charges including return shipping.
All other returns will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
All exchanges will be charged a new shipping/handling fee.
Note: If returned item has been shipped to the customer with the promotional shipping rate than additional shipping & handling fee in the amount of $7.50 will apply.
Defective/Incomplete Items
HalloweenCostumeSelection.com is making all efforts and attempts to investigate the product received from the manufacturer
and yet unfortunately a small percentage of the products shipped may have defects or missing elements. If happened and your
package contains a defective or damaged item contact our customer service to discuss a further steps.
In cases of the wrong product, damaged or defective product being shipped by HalloweenCostumeSelection.com, the customer will have
the product replaced with the identical product or the missing element sent out without any additional shipping charges.
If the product shipped was not the product ordered, the customer will have the correct product shipped.
If customer will decide not to replace the damaged item it will be considered as a normal return and will be treated as such under the Return Guidelines.
Refunds
Returns are generally processed within a 7-14 days after receiving the product back. During Halloween season (September - November) this process may take up to 4-6 weeks.
Exchange
If you need to exchange the item for a different size or color, you must place a new order for the needed replacement item and return the item you have already received. All appropriate policies apply to all returned items. Refunds are for the cost of the merchandise only, not including shipping and handling. Returns will be charged a 15% restocking fee.
